The Tow Rope
This wagon of ours has loops front and back. To help us out when grip we lack.
In times of need, we attach a rope.
And rev the engine with crossed fingers and hope.
A stranger there, who pulls us out. has loops the same, to use in doubt.
For life is a circle round which we grow and share the things we do not know.
Why this wagon has loops for when we lack?
So that when we are down, you might bring us back.
